All requirements, perfectly balanced! Designing a technical shell garment for ski touring is all about finding the sweet spot between light weight, weather protection and ventilation on one side, and durability and detailing on the other. With Senja W 3L Jacket we have found it! The 3-layer Dermizax®NX fabric is soft and lightweight, still you can feel that it is tough enough to withstand years of rough use. When it comes to weather protection and moisture transportation properties the fabric is in the forefront. (water column = min. 20 000 mm / wicking = more than 30 000 g/m2/24 hour). Now, to the details. On a steep climb you will most likely wish for maximum airflow through your jacket. That is why the Senja W 3L Jacket it is suited with long zip vents under the arms and a 2-way front zipper. The extra high collar protects your neck and chin from wind and snow, and the helmet compatible hood is easy to adjust for optimal view angle at all times. To increase your level of comfort we have added a moisture absorbent and quick drying material at the neck and chin guard.
Fabric
3-Layer Dermizax®NX. Waterproof (water column: min. 20,000 mm), windproof and unique breathable properties. Comfortable and quick-drying moisture absorption material at neck and chin guard. Product contains bluesign® APPROVED fabrics and trimmings, which ensures responsible chemical handling in production.
Hood
Helmet-compatible, fixed hood with one hand cord adjustment in the back of the hood. Reinforced brim for extra shelter. High collar.
Ventilation
Long underarm zip vents with double function so that you can put your arms through the openings. 2-way zip in front.
Pockets
Zippered front pockets. The design ensures that front pockets don't interfere with the climbing harnesses or hip belt when carrying a backpack. One zippered inner pocket, and one large stretch inner pocket.
Additional features
Velcro cuff adjustment. Articulated elbows for increased freedom of movement. One-hand elastic drawstring at hem. Reflective details. Extended back.
