The Birkebeiner packs are built to grow with the kids and are featured just as well as our packs for adults. Easily adjustable to accomodate for growing kids and variations in outerwear throughout the seasons the QuickAdjust™ II system can be dialed in for a perfect fit without hazzle. This is important because a well-adjusted pack is far more comfortable to carry and makes the pack last longer because it grows with your kid. The Birkebeiner packs are designed to improve kids and youngsters experience of being outdoors, wheather they hike, camp or just play around. Birkebeiner Jr 18 is a fully functional, lightweight daypack for kids. The buckles on Birkebeiner Jr 18 are designed to open easily. A rain cover and seat pad follow the pack. The general recommendation is that the backpack should not be loaded to more than 10-15% of the child's own body weight.
