Magma Warm Down Jacket W/Hood is, just like the name suggests, a true warming and technical piece of clothing designed for cold and active winter days out. It is put together from hand-picked materials, which are chosen not only for their performance, but also their sustainability properties. The recycled polyamide main fabric is wind resistant and filled with high quality 100 % recycled down (90/10 RE:Down, 700 Cuin, 180 gr m/2) and given a PFAS-free water repellency treatment. To provide extra thermal protection, for example when carrying a backpack, the Magma Warm Down Jacket is equipped with an extra layer of synthetic insulation (PrimaLoft® Black insulation) over the shoulders. The shoulders and other exposed area, like the neck and under the arms, is also reinforced with a more protective face fabric. To avoid cold bridging and gain maximum heat retention the entire jacket is designed with box construction. All the Magma products consist exclusively of recycled materials, from the lining through the down to the outer fabric, which of course comes with a PFAS-free water-repellent treatment. Fabric
Wind resistant fabric in recycled polyamide with PFAS free water repellency. Saving energy and fossil resources by re-using material waste from production. PFAS free WR treatment: Avoiding harmful chemicals for water-repellent finishing. Reinforcement fabric on exposed sections for extra protection. Insulated with 100% recycled down all over, and PrimaLoft® Black insulation (100% recycled Polyester) on exposed sections, above down channels, for added thermal protection. Saving natural resources by re-using down and feathers from bedding and outerwear. Product contains bluesign® APPROVED fabrics and trimmings; guarantees safe chemical management in production.
Hood
Fixed hood with cord adjustment in front and in the back of the hood.
Ventilation
None.
Pockets
Zippered front pockets. Zippered chest pocket with flap. Zippered inner pocket. Inner pocket can be used as compression pocket. The design ensures that front pockets do not interfere with hip belt when carrying a backpack.
Additional features
Elastic cuffs with thumb holes. Articulated elbow section for excellent freedom of movement. No shoulder and side seams for less friction and chafing. Drawcord adjustment at bottom hem. Regular active fit. Flap behind front zip. Extended back panel.

Re:Down
Re:Down has developed a method which enables used down to be collected, cleaned and reused in textile production. Re:Down is 100% recycled down from used clothing and bed linen which is sorted, washed and then sterilized. The collection and production of Re:Down takes place via the use of a carefully controlled system, which utilizes and recycles all parts of the collected goods and is certified in accordance with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Re:Down uses a blend of goose and duck down and has the same excellent properties as new down. It helps to reduce waste and improve the utilization of natural resources. Because Re:Down is not sourced from live animals, it also cannot be certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).

All our products marked with the PFAS-free logo use a water repellent treatment that is free of PFAS substances.
