If you are among those who get chills only by thinking of winter, you better pay attention now. Oslo Urban Down Parka is seriously warm, sustainable and equally cool looking for both genders! The Oslo Urban Down Parka is a highly technical unisex winter jacket stuffed with 100% recycled down. Panels of water-resistant and breathable Bergans Element Active covers the hood, shoulders and upper parts of the torso, as well as the back from the waist down. Perfect when you want to enjoy your coffee on a cold damp park bench. Over the shoulders the down is topped off with a layer of the synthetic insulation material PrimaLoft® Gold insulation with Cross-core. This is done because your shoulders are especially exposed to rain and snowy weather, and the PrimaLoft® does not collapse when it gets wet. With its advanced material combinations and the long shape, the Oslo Urban Down Parka is a super comfy garment that you most likely will not leave your house without. NB: All our Oslo Urban styles have a loose and straight fit and will therefore be perceived as large in size - approx. one size larger than other Bergans outdoor clothing.
Oslo Down Parka is part of Our Oslo collection, comprising modern, everyday garments featuring protective properties from technical hiking clothing. The Oslo collection has been designed with a strong emphasis on sustainable fabrics and production processes.
Fabric
Windproof and water-repellent Pertex® Quantum Eco fabric (50% recycled) in front, center back and on sleeves. Bergans Element Active® material on hood, shoulders, upper body and lower body back. Padded with 100% recycled down all over and insulated with PrimaLoft® Gold insulation with Cross-core on shoulder area, above the down channels. The product contains bluesign® APPROVED fabrics and trimmings.

Re:Down
Re:Down has developed a method which enables used down to be collected, cleaned and reused in textile production. Re:Down is 100% recycled down from used clothing and bed linen which is sorted, washed and then sterilized. The collection and production of Re:Down takes place via the use of a carefully controlled system, which utilizes and recycles all parts of the collected goods and is certified in accordance with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Re:Down uses a blend of goose and duck down and has the same excellent properties as new down. It helps to reduce waste and improve the utilization of natural resources. Because Re:Down is not sourced from live animals, it also cannot be certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).
