The W indicates that this pack is specially designed to fit female anatomy. Its clean design and practical features makes it as good for travelling as for hiking adventures. A properly fitted backpack guarantees for comfortable and efficient carrying. Rondane V6 W 65 is fitted with Bergans QuickAdjust™ PRO, a solid system that makes it quick and easy to adjust the length of the pack to fit your body perfect. Bergans FlowPanel ensure great airflow between you and the pack, giving you a more comfortable experience out th ... ere. One valuable feature for Rondane is the full zippered bag opening in the front. This makes it super easy to keep track of all your stuff, whether you prefer to pack orderly or not. Rondane V6 W 65 is also equipped with plenty of pockets of all sizes – in the top lid, on the front opening, along the sides and on the padded hip belt. On the outside of the pack you will find attachment points for trekking poles or ice axe, and several loops to fasten additional equipment. The pack is hydration system compatible.

PFAS-free

Bergans products with water-repellent functionality have no intentionally added PFAS in the surface treatment. PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a large group of chemicals that have traditionally been widely used in water-repellent DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatments. The treatment causes water and dirt to bead up and roll off the surface rather than penetrate the fabric. PFAS break down very slowly in the environment and are therefore often referred to as “forever chemicals”. They can accumulate over time, both in the environment and in living organisms, and several PFAS compounds have been shown to pose a risk to human health and the environment. Since 2016, Bergans has been actively working to phase out PFAS-containing substances from our products and replace them with PFAS-free treatments. All membranes we use are already PFAS-free. The water-repellent performance of the outer fabric will gradually diminish with use. As a result, the outer fabric may absorb more moisture, which can reduce breathability and comfort – even though the garment remains waterproof. To maintain the garment’s performance over time, we recommend regular washing and re-impregnate when needed. Read more about how to wash and re-impregnate your garment here.
