Fabric details: Wind- and water-repellent main fabric made from 100% polyamide. Side panels are constructed from a technical 4-way stretch material with a brushed inside for comfort and mobility. These panels extend through the underarm area to enhance ventilation and breathability. Both the main material and side panels feature a PFAS-free water-repellent finish. The garment is insulated with Bergans Arctic Insulation to ensure dependable warmth. The main fabric, side panels, pocket lining, and trimmings are all bluesign® APPROVED.
Hood: Low-profile insulated hood with pre-adjusted elastic at the back and front opening for a secure, close fit. Features a stiffened brim for added structure and improved weather protection.
Pockets: Hidden zippered hand pockets. Zippered inner pocket.
Ventilation: Breathable by construction.
Additional features: Double-layer cuffs for added comfort and durability. Insulated front flap behind the main zipper provides extra warmth and wind protection. Laminated bottom hem for a clean finish and improved resistance to wear. Slightly extended back panel for enhanced coverage.

PFAS-free
Bergans products with water-repellent functionality have no intentionally added PFAS in the surface treatment. PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a large group of chemicals that have traditionally been widely used in water-repellent DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatments. The treatment causes water and dirt to bead up and roll off the surface rather than penetrate the fabric. PFAS break down very slowly in the environment and are therefore often referred to as “forever chemicals”. They can accumulate over time, both in the environment and in living organisms, and several PFAS compounds have been shown to pose a risk to human health and the environment. Since 2016, Bergans has been actively working to phase out PFAS-containing substances from our products and replace them with PFAS-free treatments. All membranes we use are already PFAS-free. The water-repellent performance of the outer fabric will gradually diminish with use. As a result, the outer fabric may absorb more moisture, which can reduce breathability and comfort – even though the garment remains waterproof. Bergans Arctic Insulation
Bergans Arctic Insulation is Bergans’ own-brand of synthetic insulating material. It has good wicking properties and is lightweight and compressible. We use Bergans Arctic Insulation in garments designed to provide good heat insulation, even under moist conditions and during various levels of activity.

How to measure

A - Bust: Measured with arms hanging straight down by your sides. If you're buying a jacket/top, this is the most important measurement.
B - Waist: Measured at the narrowest point.
C - Hips: Measured at the widest point. If you're buying pants/bottoms, this is the most important measurement.
E - Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder, over the elbow, to the wrist with the arm slightly bent.
It can be difficult to measure yourself properly, so it's a good idea to get help from someone else. Tip: If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a piece of thread or string, and then measure it with a ruler afterward.
In cases where the chart shows different sizes fitting different parts of the body, which is very common, you are the best person to decide which priority to give. It's also important to consider whether you prefer a slim or loose fit if you're between two sizes.
