Designed for the demands of technical hiking, the Rabot Hybrid Midlayer Jacket blends insulation and breathability to keep you comfortable through changing conditions and varying intensities. With wind-resistant insulation areas placed strategically on the upper body and sleeves, this jacket delivers targeted warmth where you need it most. The rest of the jacket is made from a technical grid fleece that’s highly breathable, stretchy, and moisture-wicking — even inside the collar, where a grid fleece lining enhances both function and comfort. Ideal as a standalone piece on dry, calm days, or as a warm and breathable mid-layer under your shell when the weather turns. The jacket’s clean design includes a protective high collar and zippered front pockets, while strategically placed seams (staggered at shoulders and sides) reduce chafing and wear when carrying a backpack. With its regular fit and advanced materials, the Rabot Hybrid Midlayer Jacket is built to perform — and to last. Like the rest of the Rabot collection, it's crafted with recycled fibers and bluesign® APPROVED fabrics, meeting high standards for sustainability.

Fabric details: Highly wicking technical grid fleece material in 93% Polyester (Recycled), 7% Elastane placed on lower parts on body and sleeve, and inside neck Wind repellent Pertex® Quantum material in 100% Polyamide (Recycled) with PFAS-free water repellency placed on exposed sections on upper parts on the body, shoulders, and upper sleeve.
Insulated with 40 gr. Clo Insulation on exposed sections. The product contains bluesign® APPROVED materials and trimmings.

Pockets: Zippered front pockets. The design ensures that front pockets don't interfere with hip belt when carrying a backpack.

Additional features: Preadjusted elastic cuffs and hem. The shoulder and side seams are staggered backwards to prevent wear and tear and increase comfort when carrying a backpack.

Vivo Performance: Eco Insulation

Vivo Performance: Eco Insulation is a European made polyester insulation, which is developed to maintain good breathability while keeping you warm. It comprises a patented perforation with very small holes within the insulation, increasing breathability by 30 % and allowing moisture to escape, thus providing more comfort for the wearer. The holes are of a unique size: Visible enough to notice a difference but too small to allow air to circulate; they maintain the full insulation properties of the material. The small holes also provide a 4-way stretch within the insulation with a fast recovery which allows it to be combined with performance fabrics.

Vivo Performance: Eco Insulation is made in Europe from 93 % recycled fibers. The fibers are extruded from used plastic bottles and then recreated into insulation.

Polyester normally uses fossil resources for its production. By re-using existing material streams we can save fossil resources and reduce the energy demand as well as climate emissions.

The reason why mainly PET bottles are used is due to their availability and their purity in terms of material type. No other waste stream offers that big volume of basically the same identical raw material without any impurities from other material inputs. Furthermore, we can also reduce plastic waste as these material streams are being utilized again.
