Fit: Regular fit. The fit of this garment was developed specially for use with layered clothing. This means it offers good freedom of movementt, even over mid-layer garments.

Weight: 620 g (Size L)

Fabric details: 3-layer material with Bega Membrane Balanced™ provides 15,000 mm waterproofness and 15,000 g/m²/24h moisture transportation for reliable weather protection and comfort during activity. Brushed tricot provides a soft and quiet surface. Reinforcement fabric at the lower legs, with additional reinforcement on the inside of the leg hems for increased durability. Trimmings are bluepass-certified.

Pockets: Zippered front pockets. Zippered thigh pockets with flap.

Ventilation: Ventilation zips at the outer thighs for adjustable airflow.

Additional features: Belt loops. Articulated knee sections. Bottom hem adjustment with metal buckle.

PFAS-free

Bergans products with water-repellent functionality have no intentionally added PFAS in the surface treatment. PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a large group of chemicals that have traditionally been widely used in water-repellent DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatments. The treatment causes water and dirt to bead up and roll off the surface rather than penetrate the fabric. PFAS break down very slowly in the environment and are therefore often referred to as “forever chemicals”. They can accumulate over time, both in the environment and in living organisms, and several PFAS compounds have been shown to pose a risk to human health and the environment. Since 2016, Bergans has been actively working to phase out PFAS-containing substances from our products and replace them with PFAS-free treatments. All membranes we use are already PFAS-free. The water-repellent performance of the outer fabric will gradually diminish with use. As a result, the outer fabric may absorb more moisture, which can reduce breathability and comfort – even though the garment remains waterproof.
