Overview

It’s all in the details! Hogna 3L Anorak delivers everything you wish for in a 3-layer shell Anorak designed for hunting. The first thing you will notice is the micro tricot brushed material silent movement. Not only is the fabric super-soft and comfortable to wear, it is also weather protective. All those little details for hunting are of course in place; dedicated chest pockets for communication devices with antenna output and loop to keep the antenna in place. The same pocket has also an earphone output connected with a webbing loop that keeps your earphones in place. For the anorak to be equally usable for left-handed shooters these pockets feature the same functionality on both sides of ... the chest. If you are using a Garmin holder, you will also find attachment options for this on the front of the anorak. When the hunt becomes intense and you need maximum ventilation, you’ll find long vent zips under the arms. The vent zips are also fitted in a way that makes it possible to wear the anorak as a poncho.

PFAS-free

Bergans products with water-repellent functionality have no intentionally added PFAS in the surface treatment. PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a large group of chemicals that have traditionally been widely used in water-repellent DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatments. The treatment causes water and dirt to bead up and roll off the surface rather than penetrate the fabric. PFAS break down very slowly in the environment and are therefore often referred to as “forever chemicals”. They can accumulate over time, both in the environment and in living organisms, and several PFAS compounds have been shown to pose a risk to human health and the environment. Since 2016, Bergans has been actively working to phase out PFAS-containing substances from our products and replace them with PFAS-free treatments. All membranes we use are already PFAS-free. The water-repellent performance of the outer fabric will gradually diminish with use. As a result, the outer fabric may absorb more moisture, which can reduce breathability and comfort – even though the garment remains waterproof.
