Crafted from durable, PFAS-free Ripstop fabric this pack is built to withstand the toughest conditions. Trollhetta features the Spine Natural Motion technology that gives natural torsional flexibility and the possibility to fit the pack perfect to your body. In addition, the Bergans FlowPanel™ventilated back panel, along with a padded hip belt and shoulder h ... arness, providing exceptional ventilation even during long treks. Pack: The classic top opening design with spin drift collar, combined with a full front zip opening, ensures hassle-free access to pack content. Daypack included; compressible and versatile day pack included. The daypack can be attached to the front stowed in the lid or used separately on small excursions.

PFAS-free

Bergans products with water-repellent functionality have no intentionally added PFAS in the surface treatment. PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a large group of chemicals that have traditionally been widely used in water-repellent DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatments. The treatment causes water and dirt to bead up and roll off the surface rather than penetrate the fabric. PFAS break down very slowly in the environment and are therefore often referred to as “forever chemicals”. They can accumulate over time, both in the environment and in living organisms, and several PFAS compounds have been shown to pose a risk to human health and the environment. Since 2016, Bergans has been actively working to phase out PFAS-containing substances from our products and replace them with PFAS-free treatments. All membranes we use are already PFAS-free. The water-repellent performance of the outer fabric will gradually diminish with use. As a result, the outer fabric may absorb more moisture, which can reduce breathability and comfort – even though the garment remains waterproof. To maintain the garment’s performance over time, we recommend regular washing and re-impregnate when needed. Read more about how to wash and re-impregnate your garment here.
