Trollhetta 100 is the ultimate backpack for serious outdoor enthusiasts seeking reliability, versatility and efficiency. As this is the sixth version of our best-selling large backpacks, this pack is thoroughly tested and designed to carry all your essentials and more, making it the perfect companion for all kinds of trekking adventures. Crafted from durable, PFAS-free Ripstop fabric this pack is built to withstand the toughest conditions. Trollhetta features the Spine Natural Motion technology that gives natural torsional flexibility and the possibility to fit the pack perfect to your body. In addition, the Bergans FlowPanel™ventilated back panel, along with a padded hip belt and shoulder harness, providing exceptional ventilation even during long treks. The hip belt and shoulder straps are easily removable and replaceable, allowing you to customize the fit and extend the product's longevity. On the hip belt, you will also find a super-smart expandable pocket that fit a large water bottle. Featuring a top opening with a spindrift collar, full front zip entry, and multiple pockets, the Trollhetta 100 offers convenient access and organization for all your gear. Pack: The classic top opening design with spin drift collar, combined with a full front zip opening, ensures hassle-free access to pack content. Daypack included; compressible and versatile day pack included. The daypack can be attached to the front stowed in the lid or used separately on small excursions.

Pockets: Generous open side mesh pockets. Large, zippered mesh pocket in front and inside the pack. Top lid with two external pockets. Detachable pockets on hip belt, one of the hip belt pockets compatible with bottle.

Hip belt: Comfortable hip belt with a wide range of motion. Sled attachment points. Stabilizing straps that improve stability by pulling the pack closer to your body. Detachable pockets on hip belt.

PFAS-free

All our products marked with the PFAS-free logo use a water repellent treatment that is free of PFAS substances.

PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) is a group of more than 10.000 substances also known as fluorocarbons. They build up in nature as they do not degrade. In greater concentrations, they are proven to pose a hazard to both human health and the environment.

PFAS has been common to use for the so-called “Durable Water Repellent” finish (DWR): It means that water bounces off the surface rather than being absorbed by the fabric and making it wet. Using PFAS has been an effective treatment to achieve a durable water repellency for waterproof fabrics, but also other applications like ski waxes or food packaging.

Since these chemicals have shown to be harmful for both people and the environment, Bergans is working to phase out all fabrics containing PFAS finish and replace with more environmentally friendly, PFAS-free treatments. All the membranes we use are already free for PFAS. You can read more on PFAS and how we work to eliminate these.

A significant part of the challenge of using alternatives to PFAS lies in the lower durability of these water repellent solutions. That means that using a waterproof garment with a PFAS-free finishing requires you to re-impregnate these more often than before, to achieve a good water-repellent functionality also over time and after many washes. Anyhow, please always consider where and when it’s necessary to reduce environmental impact.
