Y MountainLine Hybrid Softshell Pants is a lightweight multi-purpose garment built for mountaineering, scrambling, and hiking in alpine terrains. Designing a technical garment for high-output mountain activities like ski-touring, is all about weighing up different considerations in the search for the optimal balance. Here you’ll get an advanced hybrid fabric construction providing weather resistance, breathability, flexibility and packability. The protective panels are placed on the most exposed areas on the upper parts. Lower and less exposed areas are covered with a stretchy softshell fabric to secure moisture transportation and airflow, and to allow maximum movement. A rock solid fabric i ... s placed on the lower inside of the legs to reinforce and secure longevity when using mountaineering equipment. Solid zippers with button fastening on the bottom of the leg makes it easy to perfectly fit the pants around your boots. Two spacious pockets for various equipment are precisely placed on each thigh. To keep track of smaller things, you will find a small phone sized pocket inside one of them.
