Fit: Slim fit. The fit of this garment was developed specially for use with layered clothing. This means it offers good freedom of movement, even over mid-layer garments.

Fabric details: Combines two lightweight and stretchy fabrics, both with PFAS-free WR. A light weight and windproof fabric placed in the front and back, and a breathable and wicking fabric is placed under sleeves and in the sides, where you need more ventilation. Low weight and minimal packing volume. The product contains bluesign® APPROVED fabrics and trimmings.

Hood: Fixed, preadjusted hood. High collar.
Pockets: Concealed zippered hand pockets. Zippered chest pocket, which also function as compression pocket. The design prevents front pockets from interfering with climbing harness or hip belt when carrying a backpack.
Ventilation: None. Breathable by construction.
Additional features: Elastic cuffs. Drawcard in bottom hem. No shoulder and side seams for less friction and chafing. Extended back.

PFAS-free
Bergans products with water-repellent functionality have no intentionally added PFAS in the surface treatment. PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a large group of chemicals that have traditionally been widely used in water-repellent DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatments. The treatment causes water and dirt to bead up and roll off the surface rather than penetrate the fabric. PFAS break down very slowly in the environment and are therefore often referred to as “forever chemicals”. They can accumulate over time, both in the environment and in living organisms, and several PFAS compounds have been shown to pose a risk to human health and the environment. Since 2016, Bergans has been actively working to phase out PFAS-containing substances from our products and replace them with PFAS-free treatments. All membranes we use are already PFAS-free. The water-repellent performance of the outer fabric will gradually diminish with use. As a result, the outer fabric may absorb more moisture, which can reduce breathability and comfort – even though the garment remains waterproof. How to measure
A - Bust: Measured with arms hanging straight down by your sides. If you're buying a jacket/top, this is the most important measurement.
B - Waist: Measured at the narrowest point.
C - Hips: Measured at the widest point. If you're buying pants/bottoms, this is the most important measurement.
E - Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder, over the elbow, to the wrist with the arm slightly bent.
It can be difficult to measure yourself properly, so it's a good idea to get help from someone else. Tip: If you don't have a measuring tape, you can use a piece of thread or string, and then measure it with a ruler afterward.
In cases where the chart shows different sizes fitting different parts of the body, which is very common, you are the best person to decide which priority to give. It's also important to consider whether you prefer a slim or loose fit if you're between two sizes.
