Nordmarka Outdoor Down Vest is a garment that soon becomes your best outdoor companion, simply because it feels, performs, and looks excellent. With the classical Nordmarka design, durable fabrics, recycled down and perfectly balanced fit, this is the optimal choice for any slow-paced adventure in lower temperatures when extra insulation is needed, and when durability and solidity is more important than low weight. To avoid cold bridging over the shoulders and upper part of the back, these areas are padded with PrimaLoft® Black Insulation. This is also a feature that you will take advantage of if you get surprised by a downpour, because synthetic insulation maintains its insulating power also in damp conditions. Fabric
Main fabric in 100% Polyester (Recycled) with PFAS-free WR.
Second fabric: 65% Polyester (Recycled), 35% Cotton (Organic).
Padded with 100% recycled down all over and insulated with PrimaLoft® Black Insulation in pocket bag, center front flap, shoulder, upper chest, upper back part and collar.
PFAS free WR treatment: Avoiding harmful chemicals for water-repellent finishing.
Recycled polyester saves fossil resources and reduces energy demand as well as GHG emissions, by re-using polyester from PET bottles. This also reduces plastic waste.
The product contains bluesign® APPROVED fabrics and trimmings; guarantees safe chemical management in production.

Recycled Polyester
Our aim is to steadily increase the use of recycled materials in all our products and we continuously work to utilize more and more new fabrics containing recycled raw materials. This also applies for the so-called trims, which includes buttons, zippers, labels or cords.
Re:Down
Re:Down has developed a method which enables used down to be collected, cleaned and reused in textile production. Re:Down is 100% recycled down from used clothing and bed linen which is sorted, washed and then sterilized. The collection and production of Re:Down takes place via the use of a carefully controlled system, which utilizes and recycles all parts of the collected goods and is certified in accordance with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Re:Down uses a blend of goose and duck down and has the same excellent properties as new down. It helps to reduce waste and improve the utilization of natural resources. Because Re:Down is not sourced from live animals, it also cannot be certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).
PFAS-free
All our products marked with the PFAS-free logo use a water repellent treatment that is free of PFAS substances.
