A very comfortable and stable trekking boot in full-grained leather. The boot is tailored to Nordic feet and is easy to take on and off. It has a Dermizax® membrane and a sole with superior traction. Bergans' patented design ensures that the boot connects firmly with the surface, even when it's wet and slippery. Behind the sturdy and breathable leather is a lining that is sewn like a tight-fitting sock, in a 4-layer Dermizax®-material. This provides first-rate waterproofness, high breathability and good insulation. The upper part of the boot is padded in PORON® Memory Foam, a material that shapes itself to the foot and provides a perfect fit. The shock-absorbing and lightweight midsole, Berglite®, contributes to the boot's total weight of just 790 g in size 43. Snap hooks above the ankle ensure a good fit to the foot with the option of individual adjustment above the instep and ankle. Trollhetta Trekking Boot are tested and developed in collaboration with very active and experienced outdoor experts.

Outer material
The upper section is made from sturdy, full grain leather (2.4–2.6 mm) that breathes. The height of the cuff makes the boot stable, while also having flexible zones on the heel and instep. The upper section is padded internally with PORON® Memory Foam that adapts itself to the individual foot. This means that the boot sits very comfortably on the foot.

Inner material
The boot has a 4-layer Dermizax® membrane. Which makes it waterproof, has high breathability and dries quickly. The lining is made like a sock with dense stitching to provide a high level of waterproofness and good insulation under the foot. It is also constructed with a capillary effect that wicks away moisture up the shaft and out of the boot. The heel section is additionally lined with durable microfiber material to withstand extra wear and tear. Rand on the heel and toe protects the boot in the most exposed areas.

Sole
The Bergans patented sole, made with a special rubber compound, has been designed and developed to provide perfect grip on uneven terrain and on wet and slippery surfaces. The rubber sole is designed with a tread that provides a large contact area for maximum grip in all directions. The soles have cross grooves in the heel and toe section for a safe foothold when treading downwards and to ensure a good push-off when walking forwards.

Mid sole
Berglite® Midsole – A soft and lightweight midsole made from EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate). Makes the boot lightweight, comfortable and shock absorbing.

Inner sole
Comprises a removable antibacterial and moisture absorbing Ortholite® sole and a perforated PORON® XRD insole for maximum comfort. We have chosen to use two insoles so that the boot provides extra insulation against the cold. If the user has a high instep or wants to use thick socks, one of the soles may be removed and the boot will continue to feel comfortable.

Reinforcement
Heel stabilizer® - A TPU (Thermo Plastic Polyurethane) that provides extra stability to the heel section. Rand on the heel and toe protects the boot in the most exposed areas.
