Slingsby 3L W Pants is our most technically advanced shell pants ever made! A durable yet lightweight garment made from the highest performing materials there is. Slingsby 3L Pants is made from Dermizax®NX fabric, providing maximum weather protection and outstanding breathability. The pants are customized and shaped according to our innovative design concept 3D In Action. This means that the different choices our designers have made in the development of the product is based on studies of athletes climbing and scrambling, and extensive material research and testing. The result is outstanding fit deliberately shaped for mountaineers, of mountaineers.
3-Layer Dermizax®NX with 2-way stretch. Waterproof (water column: min. 20,000 mm), windproof and unique breathable properties. Low weight and minimal packing volume.
2-way ventilation zip from the waist and down (can function as a “drop-seat”). To prevent chafing of the hip bone when carrying a backpack, the ventilation zip starts a few centimeters below the waist. Velcro adjustment at the waist provides extra width for optimal ventilation during intense activity.
Thigh pocket, with inner pocket suitable for transmitter/receiver (avalanche transceiver). The pocket is located as far down the thigh as possible without preventing movement and to avoid interference between transmitter/receiver.
High-waisted back panel. Suspender loops suitable for Slingsby Suspenders. Integrated belt loop at the rear (ladies). Recco® reflector on left leg. The pant legs are shortened at the front to provide a better fit when using boots. Reinforcement at the bottom of the pant leg. Reflective detail.
Fixed internal gaiter. Friction elastic and adjustable Velcro opening for different types of boots. Buttonhole with option to insert elastic on the inside of the lower pant leg.
