Ingrid began sewing as late as 2016 and became a household name in 2017 when she took part in the TV series Symesterskapet on NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation). At the end of the series, Ingrid wanted to continue sharing her sewing inspiration, patterns and love of sewing. She started her own blog and YouTube channel and became active on Facebook and Instagram under the name IngridBergtunSyr. Ingrid's inspiring content and genuine enthusiasm for the environment soon attracted many fans. Ingrid is currently one of Norway’s most popular “hobby sewers” and experts in the field of redesign and recycling.
“I’m really honored to be an ambassador for Bergans! Bergans really cares about the environment, just like I do, and they make excellent quality clothing. I’m really looking forward to showing my followers how Bergans works with sustainability, and also how they implement a wide range of exciting projects”.

Ingrid provides specific advice on a weekly basis about how people can give their clothing and equipment a longer lifespan, and in doing so, save the environment. This is totally in line with Bergans’ Long live the product philosophy, which is based on offering services that make circular consumption easy.
