Cecilie Skog is one of the most prominent female adventurers in the world. Her achievements as a mountaineer and polar explorer are unparalleled, and her love of nature and hiking is one of the cornerstones of her life. She is the only person in the world to have both climbed the Seven Summits and to have skied to the South and North Poles.

Tormod Granheim

Tormod Granheim is best known for combining climbing and skiing in the high mountains. He is an adventurer with a wide background. From sailing the Atlantic Ocean on a straw raft inspired by Thor Heyerdahl to climbing the Troll Wall during the winter. Tormod has climbed Mount Everest in one day and was the first person in the world to ski down the mountain's 3,000-meter high north face.

Anders Backe is a recognized ski acrobat from Vikersund. As a 13-year-old, he received his first twin tip skis, and it was then that he really understood where his interest lay. He has established himself as one the best in Europe in his field, with some great results in competitions, including getting to the finals of the X games.

Rune Gjeldnes

Rune Gjeldnes is a veteran of Team Bergans and a true polar hero. It all started on a farm in Surnadal in the Nordmøre district, and since then this tough-guy has completed many long expeditions in extreme weather conditions all over the world. Rune is the first and only person in the world to have crossed the world's largest expanses of ice (North Pole, South Pole and Greenland) without supplies delivered along the route.

Lorraine Huber

Lorraine Huber has impressed many people with her fearless skiing down steep mountainsides. She has developed into one of Europe's strongest names in female freeride skiing and has traveled the entire globe winning competitions such as the Freeride World Tour Europe and the "Best freeride female" award. Lorraine is particularly passionate about women getting involved in freeriding.

Annelie Pompe

Annelie Pompe started sport climbing at the early age of 13, but quickly progressed to higher and longer climbs. The adventuress from Gothenburg is the one woman in the world who has been both highest and deepest without breathing apparatus. She has also climbed the "Seven Summits" – the highest mountains on each continent.

Tina Johnsen Hafsaas

Tina is a rare rock climbing talent. She has travelled around the world, and has distinguished herself internationally as a top-level sport climber. At the young age of 18, she was ranked as the best junior in the world in 2012, and in the same year she won the European Youth Cup. She also has a bronze from the World Youth Championship in 2011, in addition to being both Norwegian and Nordic Champion. She was the first Norwegian woman to complete a route with an 8a+ difficulty at the first attempt.

Melissa Presslaber

Melissa Presslaber is one of Europe's few female alpine freeriders, and nature adventurer. She has completed a number of steep solo climbs and is at her happiest far away from the limelight, surrounded only by the silence of the mountains. She is constantly seeking new challenges that combine climbing and skiing.

Tom Stiansen

Tom Stiansen is a well-known Norwegian alpine skier and TV host. He was part of the Norwegian national alpine skiing team at the age of 16 and has participated in the World Cup, World Championships and the Winter Olympics. For many people, Tom is best known as host of the successful TV series 71 Degrees North on TV Norge. His job as TV host further opened his eyes to the outdoors, and he has not allowed himself to miss out on the opportunity to take a summit trip in between recordings in the Norwegian mountains.

Øyvind Aanes

Øyvind Aanes is one of the most experienced mountain guides in Europe and a major contributor and collaborating partner for Bergans' Slingsby collection. His work involves making demanding safety assessments each day, and he knows what is required of the equipment you use. Øyvind is a specialist in Haute Route variations and works as a heliski guide in Terrace, Canada. He is a UIAGM-certified mountain guide and an ISIA-approved ski instructor.

John Huston

John Huston is an American polar explorer who has spent more days on the ice than most. He was part of the Norwegian team that would defend Roald Amundsen's honor in a reconstruction of the race to the South Pole in 1911. He also led an expedition to Ellesmere Island in Canada, one of the wildest and most desolate parts of the Arctic.
